Peer tutoring for the core curriculum is available, free of charge, to students in the Molecular Biosciences Ph.D. program. You can be assigned a tutor at the start of classes, if you are concerned about your background preparation or anytime during the semester.
Our tutors are senior graduate students who have completed the core courses. Once an assignment is made, students and tutors work together to set up times and places. The sessions are typically about an hour a week and usually in small groups. In addition, professional assistance for test taking and study skills is available through the Cognitive Skills Program.
