Research in the McBride group explores the role of diet and nutrition in tumor metabolism. We use state-of-the-art analytical chemistry approaches and quantitative metabolism techniques to understand the interconnection between amino acid supply of one-carbon units and tumor epigenetics. The goal of our work is to discover and target nutrient dependencies to improve cancer therapy.
