INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS
International students should plan on arriving sometime during the week prior to August 24th. You should have received a packet of information together with your I-20 from admissions. This will include an International Student Orientation brochure from the Rutgers Global Services. Rutgers Global Services orientation activities will take place the week of August 25 - 27, 2025. Information on International Student Orientation can be found on the RutgersGlobal website:
International Student Orientation
When you arrive, be sure to check in online with Rutgers Global- International Student and Scholar Services through the RGlobal portal. They have provided a pre and post-arrival guide to help you sort out all the to-dos after you arrive at Rutgers. Be sure to attend a Staying in Legal Status workshop during the International Student Orientation where you will receive information and paperwork necessary for on-campus employment. You will need to provide us with the International Payroll Form after attending the workshop.

For those who will be living in RU housing, please contact on-campus housing directly to confirm your arrangements and check-in times.
