This is a refresher course for Ethical Scientific Conduct (16:115:556) for 5th year Ph.D. students and those in their 3rd year of the MD/Ph.D. program. It discusses the definitions and ethical problems caused by the fabrication of data, falsification of results, plagiarism, and other behaviors inconsistent with ethical scientific conduct.
This course is required for all SGS Biomedical PhD students and Master’s of Science in Biomedical Sciences students. The course complies with NIH guidelines for RCR training.
